The Spotify premium offer used to include Hulu, but unfortunately, that was before 2023. Currently, only the Premium Student plan on Spotify offers access to Hulu. Hulu is no longer included in Premium Individual, Premium Duo, and Premium Family.

Spotify and Hulu package prices
Spotify Premium offers four plans:
- Premium Individual: 1 Premium account, $12.99 per month
- Premium Duo: 2 Premium accounts, $18.99 per month
- Premium Family: Up to 6 Premium accounts, $21.99 per month
- Premium Student: 1 Premium account, student verification required, $6.99 per month
Hulu standalone plans price:
- Hulu With Ads: Allows login on multiple devices, but only two devices can play simultaneously. $11.99 per month, $119.99 per year. Students pay only $1.99 per month.
- Hulu Premium: Ad-free, allows login on multiple devices, but only two devices can play simultaneously. $18.99 per month.
Note: The above package prices are based on the latest data from Spotify Premium March 2026, and Hulu.
In addition to the two plans mentioned above, Hulu also offers Disney+, Hulu & ESPN bundle plans; Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle plans; Hulu + Live TV plans; and Hulu Add-ons. Different bundled packages offer both ad-supported and ad-free service options; you can choose the package that suits your needs. Currently, the cheapest Hulu plan besides the student plan is the Hulu With Ads plan at $11.99 per month.
How to choose the most cost-effective package?
Student users:
If you are a student user and have already verified your valid college student status, the most cost-effective option is to directly purchase Spotify’s Premium Student subscription, which costs only $6.99 per month and requires no additional payment.
The Hulu service included in the Premium Student subscription is an ad-supported service. To enjoy ad-free Hulu, you’ll need to purchase the $18.99 Hulu Premium plan.
The Spotify Premium Student subscription cannot be used in conjunction with any other Hulu plans or add-ons; therefore, you’ll need two separate accounts to purchase them.
Other users:
You can subscribe to Hulu to enjoy its streaming service and Spotify’s free service, but that might not be what you want, so you have two options.
Method 1:
Purchase a single-person premium plan and a Hulu With Ads plan, which costs $24.98 per month.
This includes ad-free streaming from Spotify and 15 hours of audiobook service, as well as ad-supported 4K high-definition streaming from Hulu.
Method 2:
This is also the method I’m currently using.
Using the Spotify APK premium mod and purchasing Hulu With Ads costs only $11.99 per month.
Enjoying the free premium account for Spotify and Hulu’s 4K high-definition video quality this way is the most cost-effective option for me.
How do I activate Hulu on the Spotify Premium Student Plan?
Hulu service is only available in the US and Japan, so your IP address needs to be located in the US or Japan to use it.
- Log in: Go to the Spotify website and log in to your account.
- Go to your account: Go to your account overview page.
- Activate Hulu: Scroll to the “Your Services” section and click “Activate” next to Hulu.
- Create/Link an account:
- New user: Follow the prompts to create a new Hulu account.
- Existing user: If you already have an ad-supported direct-billing Hulu account, you can link it to your student plan.
- Bill confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email.
Now you can enjoy ad-free Spotify and HD video streaming from Hulu.
My Choice
I chose to use the Spotify APK Premium Mod and Hulu’s ad-supported plan.
This wasn’t just because the combined price of Spotify’s and Hulu’s plans was too expensive, but also because the 15 hours of audiobooks included with the regular Premium account didn’t meet my needs.
